Europeans living in the United Arab Emirates are joking: “There are two types of seasons in the UAE: hot and very hot.”
What is the difference in the weather in different emirates? Resort areas in the UAE are mainly concentrated on the Persian Gulf coast – from western Abu Dhabi to northeastern Ras al Khaimah 250 kilometers. Therefore, the climate is the same in almost all resorts of the United Arab Emirates, except for Fujairah, which is located on the coast of the Indian Ocean. Here the weather is different: the air is on average 1-2 degrees cooler, the sea is 1 degree warmer. In summer, there are no extreme high temperatures in Fujairah. If in Dubai in the summer the temperature is +40 degrees and above, then in Fujairah it is only +34-37 degrees. In short, in the summer it is better to relax in Fujairah.
However, you should not be afraid of the heat. You just need to follow the simple rules – do not forget about the headdress, sunscreen and drink as much water as possible to avoid dehydration. It is not so much the heat that is harmful, as the constant temperature changes when moving from the street to an air-conditioned room!
If we talk about the best months for a beach holiday-this is probably November and April, the worst-July and August. Let’s take a closer look at each month:
